Wyoming and Air Force wrestle in the BIG 12. Doubt they would leave that for a merged conference

With the news today that we are affiliating with the WCC for non-football sports, can we revisit the question of where does the wrestling team end up? I feel like the Big 12 is the most obvious choice still, but I wonder if anybody has any other opinions on if this news changes the possibilities.

I believe that the Big 12 would be a great option with some good competition. With us holding all assets to the Pac 12 conference, there is also the possibility that we also rebuild the wrestling conference. We can still complete for either 1-2 years as a wrestling conference without the minimum teams. The news has been rather quiet concerning wrestling and what conference we will be in next year.
