Well, I banged the Independent drum long ago. No idea how that would work, but it did for BYU. It didn’t work out great…that’s why they’re joining the Big 12 I mean, big 12 is looking pretty good now. 31 million a year. |

Sure is going to be weird when OSU goes independent and wins 5 straight NC. Well, I banged the Independent drum long ago. No idea how that would work, but it did for BYU. BYU was not an independent. It was a member of the West Coast Conference for every sport except football. It's virtually impossible to be a true "independent" in college athletics. |
