Dialing it up to 94 with pop when up in the zone and a nasty splitter that bites hard vertically and routinely produces whiff or ground outs.
Aiden is poised to have a super year in 2024.
Not sure what Dorman has in mind but starting and/or closing might be part of his thought process.

Seeing what he did against Sam Houston State, I have to believe that they are looking at him to potentially start, given that Sellers and Ferrer are gone. Or maybe he is the new Ferrer? One or the other probably. We have that Arizona transfer, who may push his way into the starting rotation.

But for comparison reasons they could easily translate into starts - 3/3/23 v. Cal Poly, 4 ip.....and 6/3/25 v. Sam Houston, 6 IP. In those 10 innings: 5 hits, 11 Strikeouts. That sez "Starter Potential". On the Cape I don't think Jimenez was a starter in any game. One of the biggest questions for the 2024 season: will a pitcher step up to the level of a quality Friday night starter? That has been a tradition for OSU baseball in ALL successful seasons this Century. There are numerous hopefuls/candidates.

Dallas Macias got major innings this summer with Victoria (WCL) as an everyday player (typically LF).
141 AB, 45 H, only 12 SO w 20 BB.
He arrived in mid-June and stayed the entire season. In a bit of symmetry for Macias his stint with the Harbor Cats will end at Goss Stadium Monday night 8/14, as the one-game championship final is played vs. the Knights on his 'home' field.
The WCL is so stretched out that Victoria didn't make any regular season trips as far south as Corvallis, Bend, Cowlitz, etc.
