Pretty doubtful its pitching that gets us through the next two days. We just need them to give us a a shot. Which of our remaining pitchers can throw the best off-speed stuff? Put them out there and throw a steady diet.

Ok it is Larson. He best find a great breaking ball and keep the ball down. His FB down the middle might just be a bit problematic.

Put them out there and throw a steady diet. After Kmatz and Hunter it was probably Lattery and Ferrer have the best mix of off speed and breaking balls. They are both probably done unless were desperate so...Totally guessing I would probably say Mejia or Larson. Larson has had some good outings, particuarly when he shutdown GCU. He can spin it over 2400 RPM so decebt movement. Like all tricky guys hes going to need to be locating very well. The simple answer is without Hunter and Kmatz we get alot more straight forward real quick. Grewe, Larson, Mejia and Hutch are all guys that have to get by without a flame thrower.

Of course...the ump may be a difference maker in how our pitcher performs as well. I know no one ever wants to blame an ump, and their impact can be very marginal, but it is an impact.

Greg Street behind the plate today. I’m sure he is a competent umpire, let’s hope he has a good day. No strikes in the other batter’s box

“Time to ride.” JFC. Could you get more try hard to be cool than that? Well, these are the people that invented noodling.
