Pitching was definitely one of the main thing's fans were worried about most going into the postseason, and I have to say so far it has been pretty good. For the most part the post season has mirrored the inconsistency of the regular. When the pitching is effective, the offense is missing. And vice versa. Offense needs to score 7+ to have a chance. LSU is 36-2 when opponents score 5 runs or less. With 6-9 runs 7-7, 10+ they are 1-6. With the arms left can osu hold LSU to 7 or less??

Did Jimmenez get a look like that at any time during the regular season? Jimenez threw 63 pitches. That is his longest outing of the year. Jimenez' second-longest appearance was 54 pitches against Cal Poly, Jimenez' first win. Jimenez came on for Sellers in the fourth in a 7-2 win. Jimenez' third-longest appearance was 52 pitches in the Sunday game against Utah. Lattery only went 4.2 innings, and Tyler Mejia gave up two runs in 0.1 innings. Jimenez went three innings and only gave up a run in an 11-4 win. Those are Jimenez' three longest outings of the year.

We also still have all our lefties. LSU are not great against lefties I don't know the LSU BA splits vs RH & LH pitching. But, I do know they are 17-5 vs LH starters! Seems pretty effective. 0.50 lower BA per broadcasters of Tulane game

Some weather site have just issued active lightning warning for Baton Rouge. Map doesn’t look good, might not even get started
