I hate all this steaming bulls%#t I have SlingTV with the Sports Package. Rarely miss any Beaver games. Yep me too......I still have to get other random ala carte s%#t for various things I want to watch though. |

I have SlingTV with the Sports Package. Rarely miss any Beaver games. Yep me too......I still have to get other random ala carte s%#t for various things I want to watch though. I had an eye-opening experience recently - my credit card mag stripe quit working.... I was about to go on a business trip, so I popped into First Tech CU, walked out with a new credit card in a few minutes, with the "down side" of having a new number, and the old one cancelled (they could have replaced the card with the same number, but that would require them mailing me a card vs. issue a new one on the spot). The upside? I started getting email from ALL sorts of streaming providers saying they couldn't charge the credit card on file.....some I didn't even realize we were paying for! I now plan on replacing my credit every year or two to surface all the subscriptions...... Conversation in the house that night: Me: "I know we have Prime, and I enjoyed watching Reacher with you, but Disney+?" The Management: "We needed it for Mandalorian" Me: "And Netflix?" The Management: "We needed it for Stranger Things" Me: "And Paramount+?" The Management: "We needed that for Picard" Me: "We should cancel all of those!" The Management: "Why don't you cancel some of those flying or shooting or motorcycling magazine subscriptions you have instead?" Me: "What other streaming services should we sign up for?" Go Beavers! |

I hate all this steaming bulls%#t I have SlingTV with the Sports Package. Rarely miss any Beaver games. Until Sling goes down. It has been super buggy in the last 2 weeks. But you should still need the ESPN + package which is part of the Disney bundle or can be purchased ala carte. |

So I signed up for ESPN+......does anyone know if u can record on the app? I assume not....only watch live or a replay? I'll be running around this evening.

I signed up as well, it doesn't look like recording is an option. It looks like live games and replays. The nice thing about replays is I've been able to watch a couple of innings of Sam Houston during their conference tournament. |

I have ESPN+ through Hulu and it does offer the ability to add games to "My Stuff." The option is under "Info." I assume that allows you to go back and watch later? I'm able to pause the games FWIW. Edit: adding to my stuff seems to add all "episodes" of NCAA Baseball. From there you can choose an episode/game to watch, and there are over 700 episodes. To answer a previous question: ESPN+ isn't a single channel, they seem to have all the ESPN games, even the ones on regular ESPN channels. At least that is what I'm seeing on my Hulu supplied version. |

If anyone has HULU and is debating, the ESPN+ addon appears to be prorated based on your renewal date. I got it added for $2.66 today. You should then be able to cancel prior to your renewal date.

I don't seem to recall in prior years the need for ESPN+ to stream games..Is it new this year, or just my bad memory? I thought one could simply stream games on 'regular ESPN' if your TV package included ESPN... It's only $10 to watch for a month so no biggie, but maybe WD company is hurting for cash....or just are just greedy. 'rats' Has been this way for past 2-3 years at least....we've lucked out and have been on U or 2 in later games generally and haven't been on + last two years at least |
