What does it even matter? The Ducks are in the NCAA regardless, and not hosting. Of course we want them to lose but whatever.

Hopefully o used their best bullpen guys last night. What team was it that spent all their arms trying to win a conference tournament and then came and played us in the regionals with a depleted staff? I wonder what PC thinks of the conf. tournament? |

LSU. And I believe Coach Casey has expressed favor for a conference tournament when the idea was tossed around when he was still coaching. But if I'm wrong, someone correct me. |

I don’t get it. NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON has said “I’m happy we lost.” We are all bummed and disappointed with the result. But the people that seem to keep it in perspective and aren’t trying to fire coaches or acting like the season is already over are “embracing mediocrity” and “not holding the program to a high enough standard.”
It’s crap. Nobody wants to win more than the coaches and players, and yet somehow we think that if we get angry enough at the losses, it’ll somehow make them play better? It doesn’t make any sense to me.
I enjoyed the season. We played some exciting games, hit more home runs and stole a buttload of bases. We made the NCAA tourney. Of course I’ll be upset if they lose in the regional, but I’ll salute the effort, wish them well, and look forward to 2024. I don’t think that makes me “part of the problem.”
