Odd game. Beavers not scoring runs against a high ERA TEAM, though the Wildcat pitcher has done well lately, but Beaver pitchers are holding the best offensive team in the conference down. Arizona's ERA, as well as its offensive stats, are greatly inflated by playing most of their games in warm, dry weather at 2800 feet of altitude. Their hitters benefit. Their pitchers do not. Last weekend was an aberration, like a series at Coors Field in the pre-humidor days.

I still want to know what the hell Reeder was thinking. He was thinking Micah was breaking back to third so he started to break back to second...? Clearly he forgot their was a force.

Hmmmm... seems like a weird pitching move down 1-0 at this spot in their order?? Guess we'll see... Looks good thus far. Some good wacks signifying nothing. Ends up awesome. Rather question the 5.30 ERA (7.50 in Pac12 play with .277 BAA) entering a 1-0 game vs the 20/20 hindsight "I told you so"... ya, no you didn't! LOL. I certainly didn't detect this as intentional humor at the time, but it did make me laugh out loud! "Guess we'll see..." was a nice (although uncharacteristic?) nod to the fact that the coaches might know something we don't, and the proof would be, as they say, in the pudding. So, then the pudding turns out great, seemingly answering the question. But, no! It turns out that the "Guess we'll see..." was not meant to leave the door open for any other conclusion after all!
