Recruiting lists can mean squat.
Yeah, because it was well known he was going to OSU and committed while CR was still the coach. GPII was well regarded, but certainly not considered a "prized" recruit.
With regarded to lists, just as rankings... pretty iffy as almost all have no first hand knowledge of the players.
That's why coaches don't go off lists and have personal connections that have actually seen or coached against a player. And multiple occasions.
