Turns out OSU had a pretty tough schedule. They only played 10 games that missed the postseason, going 8-2 in those games (one loss being Cal, which is still a top 100 NET team at 82, and ASU was the worst loss at #115 in NET).
OSU went 2-3 vs. teams in the NIT (Jackson State, ou, uw)
OSU lost a ton of games vs. big-dance teams, but still had wins vs. seeded #3, #4, and #14 seeds. (UCLA, UA, Hawaii)
OSU's preseason games included 5 post-season teams: #2 seed (Iowa), two #3 seeds (Duke, LSU) and a #14 seed (Hawaii) and Jackson State (NIT)
This was a tough season to break in a team that needed a lot of contributions from the frosh.

Early practices were plagued with injuries and Bendu had the family crisis.
Despite playing a really tough schedule, this team was in most of the games. They lost so many games by just a few points. To their credit they never hung their heads.
If this team stays together and avoids the portal nightmare, next year looks much better.

I actually had a friend who said to me, "this might have been one of Rueck's best coaching jobs." I'm sure some on this board could have a coronary when they read that statement.

So, in a year that the Pac12 is clearly the best conference in the country we are still behind the ACC and tied with the Big10 and SEC for number of teams in the post season - 7.
Yep, that makes sense. I guess that is a big step up from routinely having only 4 or 5 teams in from a conference that has performed better than just about anyone else in the post season as a whole.

I hope the Pac12 does well in the tournament. I actually think the conference was a little weaker at the top this year, but probably stronger in the middle and lower half. I hope a good run by a couple teams will prove me wrong.

I hope a good run by a couple teams will prove me wrong. I agree with that sentiment, mainly because we saw OSU give the top of the class in Utah, Stanford and UCLA serious problems, while teams like UW and WSU solved us relatively easily, and so did Duke, LSU (especially) and Iowa. That said, the strength of this conference made those teams really have to take on a variety of different looks and styles, and nobody got an off-day. Just like in the tourney, it's about matchups, and some of the weaker Pac-12 teams were worse matchups vs OSU but still the overall better teams. Still, I won't be surprised a bit if WSU or CU is the last Pac-12 team standing.

It's time for her to start winning in the post season and not just being a pain in the backside for other Pac 12 teams.

Looks like Huth removed any mentions of Oregon State/BeaverWBB from her social media bio. I believe there were some references to it previously.
I could be totally wrong, but thought it was interesting.

Hope it's nothing since it's tough replacing assistant coaches.

Those have all disappeared, hinting that Huth and OSU could be parting ways.

No doubt that is much more than a hint. Good catch beaverwbb fan. I don't know Jenny, but I haven't seen anything yet that tells me she was a good recruiter for the Beavs. With this young talent on the team, I could see the position drawing more attention than it did a couple years back. When this is confirmed there are a lot of names to throw out there!

When this is confirmed there are a lot of names to throw out there! Jenny and Scott butted heads. Mostly on playing time/lineup combos, rotations, and using a zone more. The weird thing is that the rumor is Jenny is moving on, but some of her "thoughts" eventually were put in place late season. All except Martha being more deserving of PT. Unfortunately Jenny is not a "yes woman". Scott likes to be agreed with.

Like what some have been preaching here during the season at times. And Scott likes to run the ship from the top.
