25% you mean. But whatever. Barring a total debacle he was getting at least next year and this has been better than that. True. My bad. Well, at least you’re accepting of math.

Just wondering are refs assigned based on the teams. Is Arizona and ucla getting the top crew and this game the bottom. They've been consistent all game. They’re calling everything. Have to adjust your game and not make stupid plays. That is true. But the one ref is calling fouls when there is absolutely no contact. He called about 85% of the fouls. That was definitely the K Mart of officials.

Nelson did 10 Pac12 games this year with MountainWest and WCC intermixed. It was Ramos's second Pac12 game. He did one WCC and the rest WAC and BigSky. He's probably on the "E" list for the PAC. My guess is Nelson is a "B" or "C" lister. Last season in conference tournaments he reffed the WAC on Tuesday and Friday, Wednesday the Pac, and Thursday the MWC. He did work one NCAA tournament game last season. Refs are graded by each conference. They get put on a priority list to select their games. The P6 conferences pay the most and the pay gets smaller as you go down the conference food chain. I see eight years of data for Ramos and I'm guessing he works a fair amount of small college games and has to supplement his income with other things outside of basketball season. He has worked 22 D1 games this year. Gross income may average 3.5K per game (guessing). He is responsible for all travel expenses outside of NCAA tournament games. I think I saw the P6 conferences were at $5000/game in 2019.
