Stanford waxed us both times, close to our worst losses of the season. Not sure why we didn't match up better with them. Lost for two separate reasons: In game one, the number that really stands out is offensive rebounds. Zero. Oregon State and Stanford had 26 rebound opportunities after Oregon State missed shots, and Stanford got all of 'em. That's the only time that that has happened in at least a decade. In the other game, Stanford hit 57% of threes and 60% of twos, which is Stanford's best-shooting performance in more than five years. You could play that game 20 times, and Stanford does not hit 57% from three a second time. Bad luck.

Stanford's team free throw % is below 70%. No movement, no defense, time to set up, no clock, and significantly closer to the basket than a 3. It's quite possible to likely those kids couldn't hit 57% of the same 3 point shots in a game of horse.
They were hot.
