We have not paid with pace because Talia has been the primary scorer and to enable that we have to play slower. With her out the ball is moving more, more paint touches, more side to side action leads to more pace and more players involved which leads to better flow and better defense. This team will be better with TVO in a specialist role; like a "3 Guard". "Danger Will Robinson!!!!" Around these parts, criticizing TVO is like saying someone's girlfriend is fugly. I hope you have good medical insurance. I think TVOs heart is in the right place. I think she bleeds Orange and Black when it comes to loyalty to the program.

100 % correct!
Unfortunate that such a terrific player had to go most of the season significantly physically limited in what could do. As I mentioned in a previous post, it is sad to see a player lose one of the few years they are eligible to an injury situation.
Go Beavs!

I don't get the secrecy sometimes. If I was a player not at 100% I think I would just tweet out myself "Hey, I am doing my best but I have a knee or ankle issue that is limiting me at not being 100% effective" or whatever it may be.

It's very possible that Rueck and/or staff members have asked the players to avoid talking about injuries publicly. The players have a right to do so if they want to and I know some football players have been open about their situations.
