I wonder what's up with David Grewe? I think he's the only 1 way player who didn't get in? 27 players on the roster played. 35 are on the roster. I don’t think your answer of 1 is correct. I have the eight who did not play down as: Ben Ferrer, David Grewe, Ely Kennel, Jacob Krieg, Joey Mundt, Tyce Peterson, Canon Reeder, and Justin Thorsteinson.

Do we know for sure that Ferrer is joining the starting rotation? Or is that just wishful thinking?
As an aside, I haven't seen it mentioned here yet, but it's notable that UCSB came into that Monday game fairly hot at the plate, but our pitching did a tremendous job of shutting them down hard. Only 3 hits in 8 innings is not what you expect on the last day of a 4-game series. Makes me wonder if Lattery or Lawson are making a case to snag a weekend role?

I'm sure Lattery and Lawson are in consideration. I don't think any spot in the rotation is locked down. Ferrer is a guy you wish you could clone for the rotation and pen. I'm betting they really want him to be in the pen.....but that means the Lawsons/Latterys/Hunters of the world need to prove they can be solid starters. Also, we don't know the the timeline of Ferrer's return.....and Mundt may not come back as effective as he was pre TJ.

He's our best bet at an ace but he's also a premium reliever that can heat it up twice in a series. Wherever he contributes he will be a game changer.
