Was it just me or did anybody else think Ibekwe looks a few pounds lighter than earlier this season?
I'm hoping he comes back next year in top shape, sorta like Roman did but minus the leg injuries. He could be a real presence down low.

He could be a real presence down low. He's looks better and better each game. I could almost say he had a breakout game today: 6 pts, 4 rebounds, 2 assts and 2 big blocks. He was more aggressive and very efficient. I'm gonna say the loss of Chol will be offset by the development of KC Ibekwe. I think the Silva comparison is a good one, KC has super long arms which he uses well.

If can lose about 20 lbs and up his conditioning, he has a chance to be pretty good. Still wondering where Stevens was this game. Went from starting a game, to not playing.

They looked so much better, and made Cal look horrible. Remember, Cal scored 92 points against Stanford not long ago.

Roman had a pretty decent offensive game. My comment wasn't so much based on his play as much as the amount of work he put into working out between seasons. Too bad he managed to get injured early his final season here, it dampened his season to some extent.
I think Ibekwe gets in better shape the rest of his game will come together. He surprised me on the fast break tip-in today. He can move. I'm hoping he continues to get good minutes the rest of this season.

In my opinion, last's years season was a disaster mostly because of injuries (there was bad chemistry too). Roman, Alatishe and Calloo were never healthy most of the year and the loss or Rod Andela made it worse. This year, the loss of Chol with Rod, J5 and Wright being injured has also been a big factor. Rod looked good today, hope that continues.

How was ball movement and inside game? Didn't have a chance to catch the game.

How was ball movement and inside game? Didn't have a chance to catch the game. There were many instances where we moved the ball very well and made an extra pass that set up a good look. More inside-out play today too than we've seen. Only 13 assists on the 27 made buckets but a lot of the unassisted buckets were good moves and good shots too.

I missed watching the game due to other commitments, but pulled up the highlights on ye olde pac-12 website. Headline "Oregon State routs California..." Must've been entirely compiled by Cal's media department. 3 min. of Cal highlights so if you didn't see the score at the bottom of the screen, you'd think OSU ran into a Cal offensive juggernaut. I don't think I saw a single OSU basket in the entire vid. Just another day in the world of Pac-12 media productions, I guess.

He compiles longer game recaps, about 20 minutes or so.

Agreed. That was a tough 6 game stretch before today, with 4 of the 6 games played on the road. Nice to see OSU pick up their first true road win in a while. The announcers mentioned that Tinkle was pushing for the extra pass and tonight it finally seemed to happen. Hope they can keep making progress on the offensive side of the ball.
