She is going to have to start leveraging for NIL deals and look out for herself in this area. Shut up!!!

Did you notice how dejected those Arizona State players looked after not being able to stop Raegan? I also thought it was fun watching UCLA throw Sontag, Iwuala, and Bessoir at Raegan, but Raegan is just a beast that they couldn't stop. She was way to strong (and talented) for them to do anything with. It's hard to believe how remarkable Raegan has been this early in her career. If you go back a few weeks, you saw the chemistry that was developing between Jelena and Raegan in the high low game, but it became obvious that the rest of the team worked a lot in practice at getting the ball down low to Raegan. It helps that Raegan has such good hands that even some poor passes end up with a good result, but the overall ability to get the ball in to Raegan has improved dramatically from 3 weeks ago. This is how teams grow.
Beaver fans are blessed to have the opportunity to watch Raegan play.

Another huge key for Beers is that she is hitting her free throws. That was one thing I thought could really slow her progress because teams could just play "hack-a-Shaq" and get away with far less damage. And really disrupt her play in the process. But now they know that a foul is most likely just going to result in a 3-point play.

I found it amusing that Adia Barnes in talking after the Arizona game started talking about how Pueyo deserved to be the sixth player of the year award and then stopped herself. "Well Raegan Beers of course, but she should be a starter". So she agrees with those who want Beers starting!

Raegan Beers is quickly becoming the most impactful true freshman for OSU WBB since Sydney Wiese came along in '13-'14 and earned her first (of four consecutive) all PAC-12 honors. As Beers goes this season, so go the postseason prospects of this year's squad. She continues to figure out how good she can be at this level.
