DJ Gillett - Corvallis, OR - 138 - 2-2 at the Walsh Ironman - lost two tough matches to nationally ranked wrestlers
Just an update on how some of our 2023 recruits are doing so far this season...
Justin Rademacher - West Linn, OR - 182 -#82 on Big Board - #10 weight - Won the Mike Clock Open college tourney at 184
Dagen Condimitti - Northampton, PA - 160 -Won the Williamsport tourney last weekend
Cade White - Meridian, ID - 0-2 at Walsh Ironman
Vaun Halstead - Thurston, OR - 195 - Won Perry Burlison at 220 - Down at 195 for Rose City to face Hudson Davis in the finals hopefully - Should be a good matchup - Shows a lot to go down a weight to face Davis.
Sergio Montoya - Fresno, CA - 170 - Have not seen results for Sergio- Currently ranked #1 at 170 in CA
Victor Jacinto - Hollister, CA - 157 - 3rd at Mike Clock Open at 157 - Redshirting this year
McKinley Robbins - Jefferson, IA - 141 - 4th at preseason nationals, 1st at Cliff Keen Ind. , ranked #1 in Iowa 2A 138
TJ McDonnell - Huntington Beach, CA 182 - #55 on the 2023 BigBoard and #9 in weight - #2 in CA - Won the Cossarek tourney with a 7-2 decision over #5 Ayala from St. John Bosco -
Aden Attao - Boise, ID - HWT - #94 Big Board #8 weight - 2nd at EOC college open- undefeated in ID

Looks like Rademacher, Attao and White are all wrestling in the Reno TOC this week. Gage Singleton there as well.

Yep - Hoping we have some of our second guys going at Reno this weekend as well. Looking forward to the duals in Louisiana. Should be fun.

Attao - at Reno - Looks very good - I have watched a lot of his matches - he has looked very solid. He is a 285 that gets after it. He is the aggressor. I think we are going to like him a lot.
Rademacher the 8 seed at Reno - not sure how that happened looking at that bracket - He has #1 Condon of CA in the quarters - I would not be surprised to see an OT match or a win by Rademacher
Gillett - Lost on the championship side at Reno but working his way through consolation.
White - Quarterfinals of Reno today
Sergio Montoya - Had a quick pin in his round of 16 l match but then MedFFT his next match.
Condomitti is the #6 seed at Beast of the East - Looking forward to this tourney to see how he does. Tough bracket.
Robbins at a small tourney this weekend with 8 guys in his bracket
Halstead has the Thurston duals today- wrestling up at 220. - As a side note - In The Halstead vs Davis match last week- before the med fft by Davis, Halstead had 2 takedowns. You know... just a little side note.

Attao - wins Reno - looks aggressive and very quick.
Rademacher - lost to #11 Condon in quarters but came back to finish 3rd. Should have realistically been the 1-2 seed and met in the finals with Condon.
White - 7th place at Reno
Sergio Montoya - Had a quick pin in his round of 16 l match but then MedFFT his next match.
Condomitti- seeded 6th but finishes 2nd at Beast of the East - Excellent showing!!.
Halstead 3-0 at Thurston duals
Robbins pins/techs his way through Carroll Invite.

Dagen Condomitti won the Bethlehem Holiday Classic this past week. He beat Liam Scrivanich (for the second time in December) in the semis, Liam placed 4th at the Beast of the East & was the Greco champ in Fargo in 2021. In the finals Dagen pinned Behkhurz Sadriddinov. Behkhurz won freestyle & placed 4th in Greco this past summer in Fargo.

DJ Gillett - Corvallis, OR - 138 - Took 4th at the Doc B
Justin Rademacher - West Linn, OR - 182 -won the Doc B tournament defeating CA #1 Montiero in the finals 3-1
Dagen Condimitti - Northampton, PA - 160 -Won the Bethlehem Holiday as noted in another post.
Cade White - Meridian, ID - won Rollie Lane
Vaun Halstead - Thurston, OR - Undefeated at the Northwest duals, pinned Bowlby of Newberg a recent dual.
Sergio Montoya - Fresno, CA - 170 - FFT out in Zinkin Classic in the semis - must be dinged up right now.
Victor Jacinto - Hollister, CA - 157 - 4th at Reno TOC at 149 - Lost to champion Rooks of Indiana 3-1 and Zollman of Wyoming 3-2 5 wins 2 losses
McKinley Robbins - Jefferson, IA - Won Rollin Dryer Invitational last weekend.
TJ McDonnell - Huntington Beach, CA 182 = 3rd at Doc B in teh same weight as Rademacher. Lost to Montiero in OT or we would have had an all Beaver recruit final
Aden Attao - Boise, ID - HWT - won Reno Tournament of Champions and Rollie Lane.

Thanks for the update Idaho. You just get the feeling this team has the potential to be really good in 3-4 years with the young talent in the pipeline.

Condomitti in a tough bracket at Escape the Rock.... but he's been very tough this season. You can follow the tournament on Flo
Oregon Classic going on this weekend - could see some good match-ups for our Oregon kids.
McDonnell at 5 Counties tournament this weekend.
McKinely Robbins had a couple double duals this week in which he swept all 4 of them.
Cade White at the River City Duals this weekend

Thx for following Dagen, finished 6th. Today wasn’t his day, no excuses wrestled some good kids, lost some close matches. Can’t wait to see his development under this staff

Very tough bracket -every match is a tough one! He will have some good partners in the room next year and of course the staff is top notch!
