Atleast 5 teams ahead of us are guaranteed to lose.

If the Beavs don’t kick the s%#tty gator’s arse, we wouldn’t DESERVE top 20 consideration. They’re barely bowl eligible.

14 teams ranked above us could lose and OSU still won't crack the top 10

and highest ranked team in the pac 12.... Utah, UW, USC all lose, and w win... both would be sweeeeeettttt Lots of ifs and buts,... No postseason CFP Poll, so I'll use the venerable AP Poll. I could see one or the other. But both? 1-4 probably aren't falling behind Oregon State. That would be insane. #5 Alabama v. #11 Kansas State #6 Tennessee v. #10 Clemson #7 Utah v. #9 Penn State #8 USC v. #14 Tulane #12 Washington v. #21 Texas#13 Florida State v. Oklahoma#15 Oregon v. #26 North Carolina#16 LSU v. #31 PurdueYou probably need at least five of the six bolded teams to win. Oregon State passes the Pac-12 Champion, a team that beat them by 26 with a win and a Penn State win? I don't know if that is really true. USC finished better in the Pac-12 and beat Oregon State in Corvallis. But the Beavers pass the Trojan with a wain and an Tulane win? I don't know if that is really true either. If Pac-12 regular season and Championship Game Champions each win along with all six bolded teams, Oregon State could conceivably finish ninth I think. Oregon State finished the regular season ranked #15 in 2012, but the Beavers lost to the Longhorns in the Alamo Bowl to fall to #20. 2008 Oregon State finished #18. Those two seasons are the highest ranked that the Beavers have finished since 2000. And those three seasons are the highest-ranked Oregon State teams since 1968, when the Beavers finished #15. If Oregon State can get up to #14, that would be the Beavers' second-best season since the 1967 Giant Killers season, which sounds about right.
