Unfortunately we wilted against the press again, turning it over multiple times in the last 3 minutes and allowed a few layins

Tough loss. I like the fight in this team. They play until then end. They are young and may not have the talent yet. They make a few to many key TO's when things get tough, but I think things are heading in the right direction. Once they get a ball handler to help with the press, they start to win some of these games.

Just too many turnovers in the second half leading to USC buckets. And the USC zone really befuddled the OSU offense that half. They had a hard time getting clean shots, and consequently shot poor. Beavs got gifted a few USC defensive mistakes at the end (fouling Akanno’s 3 pt shots for one) that made for a tighter game at the end. Nevertheless, there was a lot to like in this game. It was fun to watch. These guys play pretty good D, rebound well, and play hard.

Tough loss. Too many turnovers, not just against the press but also just not paying the full amount of attention sometimes throughout the game. We need the two injured guards to be able to play.
That being said, I like the fight in this team, which is what I was hoping for before the season began. There are more wins in the future.

Need Wright and Rockelin back, both were dressed down so I’m thinking soon. Lack of depth at guard is paramount right now Pope and Akanno need some help. Chol is a project much like N’diaye was….too bad Ibekwe is still so raw.

He may have if injuries didn't occur, even with the injuries it seems the guard situation has been upgraded. We had no guard playing like Pope is last year. We'll see what happens when thes others return. |
