Going to get worse too. The fans on gator country are practically despondent. They don't know who their QB will be and are expecting more transfers and NFL hold outs.

Holiday had a choice first between OSU and UO. Apparently they chose the schmucks even though we were higher ranked and beat them. I know they had a better conference record but it’s overall body of work. we had never been to the holiday bowl and they were there last year. That sucks. I’m happy for the Vegas bowl though. Holiday and Vegas alternate each year who picks after Alamo. Based on what I have read this year Vegas had priority and picked Beavs over the others. Holiday has been playing up being open to either team from Oregon because they knew they were getting the leftovers. well if that’s true I’m better with it 😀

Pitt vs. UCLA in the Sun Bowl according to The Sporting News. A perfect destination for UCLA after the BS they pulled last year with the Holiday Bowl.

I noticed on the Florida link that the comment was made that normally Florida with a 6 and 6 record would be favored over OSU at 8 and 3.
So they threw that super arrogant comment in, but then said "because of some of our players going in the transfer portal we may not be favored"
In other words they are giving themselves an out if the Beavers beat them.
It would really be great to beat these guys! Go Beavs!

You need to read the Florida message boards. Their fan base is worried they may have only 50 or so scholarship players due to transfer portal, kicked off team, and waiting for nfl. And they expect to get their ass kicked. I'm betting we give them what they expect.

My understanding is that their selection order alternates each year, and in even years it's the Holiday Bowl that picks first. Last year, supposedly Vegas picked first. I have been unable to verify this info, though. Does anybody have the official language? I have to know if I need to be pissed off more at the ducks than I already am lol.

"Limping" may be optimistic: Nov. 19 - the Gators LOST to Vandy.
Nov. 26 - Vandy got beat 56-0 by a good Tennessee team

I have been unable to verify this info, though. Does anybody have the official language? I have to know if I need to be pissed off more at the ducks than I already am lol. In odd-numbered years, the Las Vegas Bowl picks first to pair against a team out of the Big Ten. In even-numbered years, the Holiday Bowl picks first, and the Las Vegas Bowl picks to pair a team from the SEC. Las Vegas Bowl was more watched than the Holiday Bowl the last three times that they were both held: 2017-2019. And that was before the Las Vegas Bowl traded the Mountain West Champion for an SEC team. Plus, the Holiday Bowl is held in an 18+ year old baseball stadium. The Las Vegas Bowl is held in the the second-newest NFL stadium. (SoFi Stadium, where Oregon State played last year, is the newest.) In no way do I see the Las Vegas Bowl as a step down from the Holiday Bowl. In fact, the Beavers may have dodged a bullet by avoiding a very talented and motivated Tar Heel team. Anyway, we're all walking out of Allegiant with new boots, because we're going to kill those Gators. Go Beavs!
