Really good first quarter. Obviously Praire View isn’t great, but was good to see the Beavs shoot it well.

Really good to see Bendu out there and playing PG. The impact of her athleticism at the position is very evident.

PVA&M looks completely overmatched. 31-7 after 1Q.

I missed the first half due to the football game and it's obvious that the opponent is not great, but it's very evident that Bendu makes a huge difference for this team, from handling the ball, pushing the pace a little and overall defense. Really a big deal to get her back when they did. Getting Timea on the court will be big as well, probably more from a depth standpoint at first. I expect her to go through the usual freshman growing pains at times.

100! 100! 100! 100!
Final 100 - 59.
Beers with 28. Talia 'only' with 12....but early-early she already had 10...setting the pace for the squad.

Even though we shellacked PV, it's been great to watch some of the early 3-pointers, some of the younger players scoring, and seeing Bendu on the court. Beers is 10 of 12 from the free throw line! Bendu is a supreme athlete!

PVAMU had a game against WSU a week ago and lost by 28. Beavers led today in rebounding by 23. WSU only led Prairie View by 5 in rebounds.
I'm thinking about that because next Friday (11/25) the Beav front court gets its first real test. Iowa 5th year senior Monica Czinano (6'3" C/F) is very good as a rebounder and exceptional in regard to FG%.
Hopefully, in the upcoming tournament (which is designed in part to "honor Phil Knight's impact on the game"), Raegan Beers and Jelena Mitrovic will hold their own against Czinano. With the two of them, at least the team has 10 fouls to use.

Isn't Czinano kind of similar to Beers (except for experience) as far as what she does on the court? It seems like Beers will benefit greatly from playing someone like this. Not sure how Mitrovich will fare against her. Will have work hard not to get caught out of position on defense.
