Well, good win. Second half really looked closer to what I think most of us would expect the Beavers to look like against Seattle. Encouraging, especially considering they are continuing to play shorthanded. Redemption in the second half

Imagine how lopsided this could've been if the Beavs managed a bit better than 2-20 behind the arc. Oof, that is just awful.
SU was 8-22 from 3, much more successful from distance than on 2 pointers. 11-42 inside the arc.

Yeah, maybe it's a matter of getting in sync with guards penetrating and then kicking the ball out for better looks? I would assume between TVO, Marotte, Hansford, Blacklock, etc. that 3-point shooting would not be an issue. It's early, so maybe it won't be as the season moves forward.

A couple of things, Beers is going to be a monster. She has a nose for the ball and really uses her big frame to her advantage. AJ has made tremendous strides over the summer. She looks poised and confident. Her skills are improved and her knowledge/awareness of opportunities is much better. Talia is still Talia, good things happen around her. Jelana gets a lot from her size and hard work. I wouldn’t try to win by making her the first option but she is dependable for mismatches and overplaying defense.
I can’t wait to see Bendu and Timea.
Good things going to happen for this team.

Really nice to see sharp ball movement in the second half. Not sure about the 3-point shooting, but it's not recruiting. Beavers have several players who are known to have a good stroke from 3. Just cold right now, I guess The 3 point shooting was missing last year too. So was the 2 point shooting.

Not sure what happened with recruiting but used to have multiple players that could hit the three. For years, the Beavs were among the best 3 point shooting teams in the nation. My memory might be playing tricks on me, but I think the year Tudor got hurt early in the season that started to change, and they've never really gotten back to how they used to be. I think we all got a bit spoiled have the 4 best 3 point shooters of all time on the roster over-lapping each other. Probably not going to have a stretch of Aleah, Jamie, Kat, Syd again for a while. Especially that the 3 point line has now moved back a little bit.

Breakout game for Jelena. She was where she needed to be on both ends of the court, had some fabulous blocks, and rebounded aggressively, fighting for long caroms. Very impressed by her effort; it was what we've all been hoping for - and I don't think she committed a foul.
Raegan was also terrific, as were AJ and Talia.

Our national rank in 3 point percentage: 2013 - 14 13 2014 - 15 13 2015 - 16 27 2016 - 17 27 2017 - 18 1 2018 - 19 3 2019 - 20 14

I thought it was a little more of a breakout game for Beers. Mitrovic played very well, but Seattle had absolutely nobody that could even come close to countering her height advantage. Beers dominated against bigs that were around her height, albeit not the same level either player will see in the Phil Knight tourney and the Pac-12

Double doubles from both Mit and Beers was really good to see. Mit mentioned in the post game that Beers is really strong. I am looking forward to seeing Pac-12 posts try to push her around - I don’t expect that will go very well. They probably can stay in front of her, but pushing her off her spots is a tall order.

Those are essentially the years that we had those 4 players.

Colorado has some big bodies. Miller, Vonleh, Whittaker and McLeod. Will be interesting to see the battle in the paint when the Beavs play the Buffs.

Waiting for Adlee to break out too, I know she can shoot. Several freshman parents in town including her dad:
