I look up rosters of the opposing teams players (height, year, hometowns) and usually coaches and the assistants just to see where the came from and how long they have been coaching and noticed two assistants were former hole players. The team is fairly regional in recruiting and size should not be a factor. Btw, they play hole this Saturday for a common comparison of foes.

I was hoping this would be a better year in terms of injuries for us, but here we go starting off with probably 2 of our best 4 players down with the dreaded "indefinite to play" label.
What was the old saying-"If I did not have bad luck, I would not have any luck at all".
Go Beavers!

I get your pessimism, but SR’s emphatic “they will play” at some point this year gives me some hope that these aren’t things that potentially don’t get right. But yea, with Aquino, Gebbia and now Nolan, etc, I get your sentiment.

I thought Coach said Bendu would play this month, Timea would be "indefinite" to play?

Julianna Walker transferred to Seattle U. after one very uneventful season at Syracuse. She's from a small private school in Tacoma. She and TvO both most likely would've passed Van Lith for the all time high school scoring record in Washington if there had been a 2020 season.

So...anybody watching? Beavs are scoring fairly easily, but so is Seattle U. What ever happened to Rueck's trademark defense? I could be totally wrong, but based on a a long history, Seattle U. is really not the kind of program the Beavs should be struggling against.

Seattle U cooled off drastically at the end of 2Q. Missed their last 8 shots.

SU is starting to look a little gassed.

At the half, it looks like there is much work yet to be done with this team. The 3pt. shooting was atrocious, and they are ahead (by a little) largely due to individual efforts, as opposed to strong team play. The Seattle sharpshooters have helped to keep it close for them. The Beavs look pretty good down low, but they need their shooters to warm up - like, now. Seattle has them, and the Beavs need to match it.

Not inspiring at all. Some nice play by TVO, but really would like her to just take over and help OSU get a more comfortable lead before trying too many other combos, etc. Defense against the 3 is still nonexistent. Just hoping that it doesn't fall. Really hope Gardiner and Yeaney are able to get back soon. The "easy" games are going away quickly. Iowa and Duke/UConn are coming up soon and I doubt that they would be having trouble with Seattle U. by halftime at all. No depth with the bigs is going to be a killer.

Beavs are taking care of the ball so far. Only four turnovers.

That and these games are used so that new players can start getting familiar with one another. To have players out this early is a huge concern. The competition gets tougher soon.

To me, it looks like they're trying to work together. It's picking up a little here with about 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. 3s are still waiting to warm up (to put it kindly).
