Seems the Beavers are going to need to show up on defense. From the performance and comments about exhibition game - plus Scott's comments on the after game presser it should be a stark improvement.
Let's hope all 11 suit up and play.

If the Beavers are close to full strength, they should win. If not, it could be a problem.
And this is the problem with SR carrying a smaller roster than required. Injury bug hits and the cupboard gets bare quickly.
Not saying he's wrong, just that any decision can have negative (or positive) effects and this is a possible negative effect.

Does anybody know who is playing tommarow and who isn’t? Why wouldn’t Timea not play or we just don’t know whom was missing practices. But strange how all the sudden their are our best players not available. This happens but you have to see if there are issues to address before things blow out too?
I’m mister worry wort!

A facebook message reminding about Monday's game had filtered photos of Bendu and Timea. Not wanting to get my hopes up, but.....

Timea, Bendu, and Shalexxus reportedly all have minor injuries. Shalexxus is day-to-day. Rueck didn't sound confident about Timea or Bendu for Hawaii. |

This is my scouting report from studying their exhibition game stats. Two tough guard players offensively. But quiet as a hole team from three point land. That will be our advantage if we shoot the three around 35 to 40 percent
Are 6-4 and 6-3 up front. A good defensive team. Probably due to their guards and 6-4 girl is mobile. Probably get a lot of their scoring in transition and good half court ball handling. We must shut the guards down by being aggressive defensively against their guard duo. Then the game will be ours.

Looks like Bendu will be playing. Hope you are right, but in SR's comments he said the team is in the same position as last week...Shalexxus is day to day, and Bendu and Timea out a bit longer. I hope I'm wrong, but it sounds like Timea and Bendu aren't quite ready yet. Shalexxus is a maybe. I was quite surprised SR didn't get another big player in the transfer portal. All three of his current 'bigs' have had injuries the last few years, so let's hope for the best. Bendu has played 4 years of Big five ball, and hasn't had much in the way of injuries, so you hate to see her start off her final season in her home state on the injury list. Hopefully, it will be short lived. |

Since when does a player announce her own return to floor time?
I know times are somewhat a changin' - but Bendu takes the floor when Rueck says so....

Perhaps she simply meant the actual season with her new team starts tomorrow. She didn't say anything like. "Can't wait to play my first game at Gill."
We'll all know soon enough.
For those not living near Corvallis, it snowed here today.

From what I am hearing is Bendu was with family after her brothers funeral and possibly not practicing? Not 100% sure but maybe Scott wants to get her practicing before playing? Or maybe she is hurt and coming back tonight? Either way I hope she plays tonight because I think her Defense will be a game changer for this team.
I am also hearing Timea is out for a few weeks with a undisclosed health issue. Not an injury.
