WereBeav……WereBeav…… haven’t you heard? “Compassionate conservatism” is so……passé. That was a GW deal. Today’s MAGA-conservatism sect’s mantra is, “f%#* your feelings.” Don’t forget that.

WereBeav……WereBeav…… haven’t you heard? “Compassionate conservatism” is so……passé. That was a GW deal. Today’s MAGA-conservatism sect’s mantra is, “f%#* your feelings.” Don’t forget that. I don't know what Mulkey's politics are. I don't want to guess, and frankly couldn't care less. Let's say I worked closely with someone for years and relied them on to accomplish a major project that was instrumental to my own success. A success I could not have achieved without their contributions. And that person later ran afoul of a foreign legal system (not even considering it's notorious corruption) and was punished altogether unfairly and disproportionally. I suppose I could just say to myself, "wow, wasn't he/she stupid - should have known better. stbh". I guess some people would. I think I'd feel an OBLIGATION to reach out and at least offer sincere gestures/statements of support and sympathy. And if the success was of a highly public nature, a public gesture would be warranted.
Just seems like something any mature and decent person would do in a heartbeat. I guess that presupposes having a heart.
