Benny’s House has several ways to help you find new posts and follow conversations without having to click on the thread and scroll down. This improves readability, saves time and wear and tear on your mouse finger.
When looking a list of the boards from the home page you might see an icon next to the board name that looks like a file folder with NEW in blue. This means that since your last visit there is at least one new post or a new thread within that board. You can click on the board to see a list of threads. Threads with new posts since your last visit will be marked with a black/orange NEW icon. You can click on the icon and it will take you directly to the posts you haven’t read yet. Or instead, from the home page you can click on the link for the “Last Post” over in the far right hand column. This will take you to the last post so you might have to scroll up to read all the posts since your last visit.
All of this functionality requires you to be logged into your Benny’s House account. So if you are not logged in and only reading as a Guest, the NEW icons won’t show up.

I'm a big fan of the "Participated" link up in the right hand corner, that allows you to see threads that you've posted in, and shows up with a "new" icon if any activity has happened on those threads since your last visit.
One minor complaint I have is that there's not a "return to top" button on the desktop site like there is at the bottom of a thread on the mobile site. Sure I can just hit the back button on my browser, but then it repopulates all the new icons of things I just read.
