Boisvert's limited activity indicate some kind of injury? Lawson numbers look great, any chance those are sustainable? If Wilson could put numbers like that together next Spring, we are going to be really good.

He pitched 4 innings against (statistically) the best hitting WCL team - Ridgefield. No-hit them the 1st 3 innings. Then in the 4th gave up 4 hits/2 ER's. Got a great 3rd out via swinging SO in the 4th with runners on 2nd & 3rd. I do not know why he only began summer ball < 2 weeks ago. Also in tonight's game, Weber had a 1st inning HR, and caught well. Trosky really struggling at the plate (ala Dernedde in the WCL last season). Brady Kasper starts in RF for Bend pretty much every game. ALSO Highlight: Lattery, 17 IP / 18 K / 2 BB

Attended my first Knights game Sunday. Just never made it down for one. First impression was the defense. Plays that look routine for a dialed Beavs defense are more of an adventure. It's developmental league, I get it
Kennel was okay at 2nd....made one throwing error on a tougher play. iirc, he struck out a couple times as well. Smith caught, and had an RBI single to take the lead from the Pickles. Lawson came in in relief and got roughed up. They hit him pretty hard. Didn't have his best stuff clearly.
Fun atmosphere....it was pretty dang hot, but I didn't complain after freezing my arse off all college season!

I hadn't realized that Tanner Smith was playing summer ball in Corvallis this year (his first game with the Knights was just last week - 7/19). The WCL has featured a lot of Beaver Catchers over recent years. I attend about half the Bend Elks games - last season it was Gavin Logan having a great summer with the Elks - preparing to step into a starting role. This season it's Wilson Weber tearing it up in Bend (.972 OPS) and Isaiah Burke (RS Freshman from Mt. Hood CC > OSU) getting some good experience as well. I've really enjoyed watching the Beaver catchers receiving various Beaver pitches thru the Summer. Last season Gavin Logan had a great opportuniy to 'break in' Jacob Kmatz (fresh out of HS). Both this season, and last, Beaver catchers have worked with AJ Lattery in Bend.

2 jacks onto the bullpen...one inside the park homer to centerfield where the outfielder dove and missed the ball.
