Oh Jeff, you are talking about my childhood! Even got to see the Yankees play the Orioles in Baltimore in 1962. A major thrill for a 10 year old from Newberg. I still have angst when I think of my Giants losing to the Yanks in 1962 in seven games. It happens. My first baseball memory, was Reggie Jackson hitting bombs off my Dodgers in the 1977 WS. It sucked.

First baseball memory . . . . remember using a plastic bat and ball in the backyard. But besides that getting a baseball card from a cereal box (Tommy Agee, cool) and then seeing Joe Lis hit a home run for the Eugene Emeralds.
