I can see how USC can make the move behind the scenes, but UCLA is a public institution and this move has implications for Cal Berkeley in terms of revenue sharing. I think the UCLA piece may have some headwinds.

What the heck - Drop them for ALL sports this season. They'd have a lot more games to replace than the other 10 remaining schools.

Dropping USC/UCLA before they leave sounds like a great way to have to give money back to the conference's sponsors and TV deals. I understand spite, but come on.
