Big Jim Wilson says we should go with Hunter, and after last weekend, that's sounding good to me. I'm worried Kmatz is the kind of guy that SEC bats will feast off of.
I like the idea of leaning on Hunter's junk one time through the order, and then using Kmatz as a change of pace for a few innings. And if we can build a lead, I'm confident in Sebby and Brown taking it home.
Just need our hats to come alive. If they do, we should be punching our ticket.

Kmatz has shown himself to be a better pitcher on the year than Hunter. He completely shut down UCLA 15 days ago, the same team that scored 25 runs the game before.

Let’s roll with Kmatz on a short leash. It’s gonna be a Johnny Wholestaff game.
Worried about our offense. It’s not the greatest but I hope it gets the job done.
Beaver defense hasn’t been good lately.

Kmatz or Hunter with the other Sebby and Brown and maybe an inning of Ferrer... that should get it done!
I actually like Hunter more too but either way

Auburn's pitcher isn't a bum, he's been good last month +, just doesn't go deep, but Kentucky game only sore spot and just dominated UCLA

I think Lattery is a good option for an inning or two - looked real good Saturday.

We will not do well with anyone trying to beat these guys with their FB. Kmatz Starts but if his breaking ball is off or he is getting hit, pull him. Lattery next best and would be a great choice for the start. Any chance Ben can come back to close?
Go Beav's!

I’m more concerned about who the starting ump is. Match the pitcher to the ump.

Kmatz - short leash. Hope for 9 outs. Hunter - 1 rotation through the order Sebby - as long as he can keep quality up Lattery - until the 9th Brown - well rested and probably champing.
I expect Auburn gets held under 5. Hours in able game for the beavs for sure.

I think the offense needs to score 7 runs to get us a win tonight. Hjerpe held them to 3 last night and they got 7 the night before. I think expecting to hold Auburn to 5-6 runs tonight is realistic so it's really up to the bats to perform better than they have so far.

If we had had a clean game in game two Hjerpe and Ferrer held them to 1. I think your 5-6 is about right unless we play 100% on defense, then I would say 2-3.
