I guess the big difference with LIV (other than being owned by the Saudis) is their tournaments are only 3 days/54 holes instead of normal PGA and similar tournaments being 4 days/72 holes.
Phil thinks it's a better work/life balance (or so he's indicated) and it probably comes with guaranteed $ instead of him having to win to make the big bucks.
LIV = roman numeral for 54
He seems like a good guy, but his mouth and actions indicate differently.
