I'd be leaving the house right about now to go watch the Aggies and the Vandela's, but I just can't bring myself to sit in the rain for a non-Beav game. I'll be there tonight, but it really is a shame to be getting this weather. My memory is slipping, but have we ever had such lousy weather for a Saturday regional here? I sure don't remember it.

Right now, I’d say there is NO way the game gets played tonight. Tomorrow is IFFY. Anyone KNOW “how it works” should the remainder of the regional can’t be played through Monday? Tuesday, Wednesday OK?

Vandy vs NM State is delayed. Sure hope they can get these games in. Extending into early next week would really suck for a bunch of reasons.

Right now, I’d say there is NO way the game gets played tonight. Tomorrow is IFFY. Anyone KNOW “how it works” should the remainder of the regional can’t be played through Monday? Tuesday, Wednesday OK? If a game cannot be played tonight, it will move to tomorrow. That will move the losers' bracket game to the second game on Friday. The potential double-header for the Regional Championship will be moved to Monday. The only way that the Regional gets moved to Tuesday is if at least two games rain out on Sunday and Monday, including any rescheduled games. In 2007, Tropical Storm Barry wiped out both losers' bracket games on Sunday in the Charlottesville Regional, which moved both games to Monday and the Championship Game to Tuesday. |
