The NCAA is obsessed with trying to make the Regional sites as neutral as possible. It's absolutely absurd. There is no way any Regional host is neutral. Every one of these has the vast majority of fans there from the home team. It is their stadium after all. Get real NCAA.
Let's start talking about stupid rules. How about no walk up songs. Until like the 7th inning, then suddenly they started. And no chainsaw for strikeouts. What the hell is wrong with that? Don't get me started on a crappy $40 t-shirts they had in Scottsdale. Can't wait to see the POS shirts they have at Goss. Oh and they're not allowing our ex players to use the players lounge. Last night nobody could go in there but the NCAA. There were three wonks sitting in there watching one of the games. I guess they're just too damn important, they have to have their own hangout.
We parked away from the parking garage last night. I'm assuming they're charging for parking, as usual. And that money doesn't go to the OSU athletic department. It goes to NCAA to waste it on God knows what.

NCAA administration needs to go soak its collective head and then just plain goddam' disappear.
I'm sick and tired of their self-serving, $$$-grubbing BS.

Only way to make sure this does not happen again at Goss is to not host a regional. No thank you to that idea.

Nor was there a parking charge last night, the 15th Street lot has been free the entire tournament.
The only thing the NCAA really needs to change is the method for determining the home team. Higher seed has the choice of when to bat. They earned it. No way should a #4 seed ever have last bats.

You can also freely go into banners and Casey’s corner from the stadium, so I’m not sure what the genius in the ticket office was saying.

OSU has played on the road in the NCAA D1 Baseball Tournament, and in those instances we appreciate that the tournament venue is run to Tournament standards, not home-team standards. As far as T-shirts and parking rates, I have no opinion one way or the other. It obviously did not impact attendance. Bottom line, it’s their tournament, not OSU’s. If OSU didn’t want to abide by Tournament rules I’m sure Vanderbilt would have been happy to take on the hosting duties.

However, it seems they're always at the ready with the walk up songs in case there is a stoppage in play (mound visit, pitching change). Pitcher music remains the same.
