Working on a Hop Valley HazyIPA variety half-case this weekend. They're located in enemy territory, but make some pretty good beers. Can't be all bad. Hop Valley makes good beer. Just stay away from Ninkasi unless you want to support the dark side. OSU ask them to be a sponsor and have their beer in our stadium and they told us to F off because they’re huge uck supporters.

Speaking of "enemy" and those who may be fans of Russian River Brewing (Pliny... Elder and Younger) I've always thought the beer that is tasty and should be served in every ballpark... "Blind Pig" But, I can be induced to drink several of their offerings! But, tonight is a bottle of Balvenie 14 my son brought over!

Any Beer with an ABV of 8%+.(Plus) If that's not available. Any beer with an ABV of 8%-.(minus) I'm not very picky since I gave up whiskey. No Whiskey... shame on you! I agree, but I'm already considered an asshole by my huge extended family. Whiskey only made my smart ass mouth worse, so changes "were made." I still cheat once in awhile but keep it on the "down low"😀

However the Russian River folks are just a little too proud of their Younger. I don't know if Balvenie 14 is coming out of the bullpen, but that'll earn ya a save every time!

Hmm, I did not know that. That's a bummer, because I've had my share on Ninkasi. Plenty of other options though I suppose.

I still drink their stuff once in a awhile, but not often.

Lagunitas Sumpin’ Sumpin’ will be my go to from now on =)

other options to weigh also:
Ninkasi remains independant. Hop Valley sold out to big brother beer company.

I just have friends that don’t drink Ninkasi for that reason. Also, I think Hop Valley makes better beer.
