Their combined win total against the Beavers? See the uck logo.

#7 RPI winds up in our regional... Vanderbilt has also lost 5 of their last 6 games. 2-13 L LSU 3-8 L LSU 10-21 L LSU 3-1 W Ole Miss 1-10 L Tennessee 2-10 L Kentucky They're are also 10-17 against Quadrant 1 competition. If we're scared of Vanderbilt, we have no business talking about Omaha. I’m more worried about the other two myself. At the very least the scouting reports will be very complete on Vandy.

See the uck logo. how can that be...unless the SEC isn't as great as the SEC says it is... the best measure of a conferences power is how many teams they get into the post season. Don’t look past that bit though

No, it's how you do when you get there.
Case in point, this year's softball tournament. Every SEC team except South Carolina made it. Only one advanced to the CWS. The Pac-12 had fewer teams selected, but destroyed the SEC head-to-head, and had three teams advance to the CWS and probably would have had four had Stanford played anyone OOC rather than us.
Clearly the SEC was overrated by the Selection Committee, as often happens with the SEC in almost every single sport.

With the super regional happening the same weekend as graduation how far from Corvallis does the visiting team have to go to find lodging? Just curious.

No. The city. The Best Western Premier in Lebanon is one of the nicest hotels around. It’s also where our Football team stays before home games.

Obviously getting there means nothing if you get bounced.

Wouldn’t see whistler being problem if that’s all he does. Whistle. If Beavs get up on them, it won’t be an issue. Always figured we’d get an sec or acc school here as #2. Might as well be Vandy.
As for Bradfield… yes… better to keep him off base. Because if he’s on first. He’s essentially on second. Then third.

Apparently I took your post at face value and didn't get the humor. lol
And getting there and losing is always better than not getting there.

Oregon State also won a series against Tennessee at Goss in 2010, two games-to-one. The Beavers are 8-1 all-time against SEC teams at Goss, a perfect 6-0 in the postseason.

The last time that Oregon State played a two-seeded SEC team that had lost the National Championship Series to another SEC team was 2018. LSU lost to Florida in the 2017 National Championship Series. The Tigers then came to Goss, and Oregon State smoked 'em, winning 14-1 and 12-0. LSU had 12 players drafted off of that team. A&M hosted in 2012 and came to Corvallis in 2013. Oregon State won 6-1. A&M had 22 players drafted off of that team. Georgia came to Corvallis in 2011. Oregon State won 6-4. Georgia had 14 players drafted off of that team. You gotta like Oregon State's chances.

I guess I’m hesitant about using previous stats for determining how the Beavs will do in the upcoming regional......in part due to our play the past few weeks. Our fielding percentage has dropped a fair amount, our pitching has struggled (even Hjerpe isn’t as dominant as he was earlier- needs his ball movement to be like it was earlier).
Aside from the Ucks, We have struggled to beat the upper tier teams. I’m hoping that we will get back to our previous fielding from here on out..... that Hjerpe gets his mojo back. We need both....
