Projected Field of 64
About what I expected. Stanford and VTech jumped us. We are a #4 in D1’s eyes. Interesting that it is opposite a uck regional in Eugene with the Zags. Brutal GCU as a #3 in our regional seems a bit heavy. I do like UNC coming to Goss.

But taking five games from them already doesn’t make me want to try a 6th or 7th. Averages and statistics and all that.

But I was a wreck for most of that game…until after the rain delay. I should admit that LSU put the fear of tournaments into me. Too easy to get knocked out on an off day. During the year, I’m up front saying “On to Omaha!” But come regionals and supers, I’m a nervous wreck. Yeah, I get it. Let’s see how the Pac 12 tourney goes.

That rain delay re charged OSU in a way I think.. they seemed to get all the momentum after that and then took it all the way after that. If it never happens who knows.

Beating the Ucks to go to the World Series?.. That would be fun hard to beat a team 7 times in one season..be careful what you wish for True. Would still be fun to see

That rain delay re charged OSU in a way I think.. they seemed to get all the momentum after that and then took it all the way after that. If it never happens who knows. It was 5-4 in the sixth, when the rain delay happened. Oregon State had already erased a 3-0 deficit with a four-run fifth. But Washington came back in the bottom of the fifth with a single, wild pitch, bunt, walk, just awful throwing decision by Kevin Abel after he fielded a ground ball and single to put Washington up 5-4. The rain delay happened with two outs in the top of the sixth. What really helped is that it chased Stevie Emanuels, Washington's most talented reliever after he had only thrown an inning. The Huskies brought on their closer, Hardy, and Oregon State scored five on him and added another five after Hardy got pulled. 14-5 win after being down 3-0 in the fifth and 5-4 in the sixth. A great final six innings after a just awful first three.
