For those who were saying that our pitching is no match for Ucla’s, Pfennigs would like a word with you. Pfennigs is basically just trolling the nation as a #3 starter when hes on.

For those who were saying that our pitching is no match for Ucla’s, Pfennigs would like a word with you. Yeah, I was going to say. UCLA has depth, but I do not believe that the Bruins could go pitcher-for-pitcher with Oregon State over a Pac-12 Tournament or Regional. A Super is a whole 'nother ball of wax.

Can't keep a good man down! Forrester made whatever correction he needed to get the extra 10 ft on that one!

Donkey with a 3 run shot. 9-1 Beavs. My 7+ run prediction for this game came true. Let's run it up and leave no doubt. UCLA may have the series, but Oregon State can still outscore 'em for the series.

I think I said it on angrybeavs but my worthless opinion is that Stanford, UCLA and Arizona are more talented teams and a big ask for consistent series wins for the beavs this year. I think Stanford is the only one that is set up as well for a tournament though. We have real depth in the bullpen and 4 legit starters (5 if you count Ferrer).

If were gonna mess the bed at the end of the season we may as well confuse the hell out of everyone and make them nervous with a monster comeback.

T7th 9-1 Beavs Pfennigs stays on with 79 pitches. Karros grounds out. Real nice throw on the fly by Baz and a determined pick from Forrester to get the out. 1 away Reyes walked after a 7 pitch battle Dorman comes out for a talk but leaves Jake in. Perry walked on 4 pitches. Runners on 1st and 2nd. Pitching change. Boisvert in for Pfennigs. Crowd shows Jake appreciation on senior day. He's a junior though, he could come back if he wants? Help from the peanut gallery please. Oyama walked on 4 pitches. Bases loaded. Yates singles to left. Runners all advance 1 with Reyes scoring. Beavs 9-2 Pitching change Ferrer for Boisvert. Good hook and choice by the coaches. Schrier strikes out swinging on a full count. 2 away Palmer singles to left for RBI. All runners advance. Beavs 9-3 Curialle strikes out looking, maybe even kinda cross eyed, on an absolutely beautiful fast ball to the lower left corner of the zone. 3 away
Ferrer is awesome

Agreed if he makes it back. Lattery and Ferrer can stay bullpen and just be brutal. Townsend can also be considered a starter but he can be hit or miss. Hes been having himself some really nice outings in the back half of the season though. So yeah...essentially we have 7 starters if we really want get wild about it.

Like seeing Boisvert here. A bit of pressure with the base running situation but not asking him to win a close game.

This situation really magnifies how important that Bazzana - Forrester play was to start the inning. Even with a 9-1 lead a bases loaded - no out deal, is just a bad bad deal.
Give Boisvert some pre post-season experience against a solid team (damn - Four straight balls is not what I mean).
update: confidence in Boisvert takes a dive. No post season for him !

If you want to let a team back into a 9-1 game.
Walking batters is a good way to do it.
