UCLA showed a lot this weekend. UW has won 8 or 9 in a row. Will be tough this time. Hope we are ready and relaxed. Hope we find the right end of batting order and DH. Not worried about pitching. Actually UW has won 12 in a row. But, since their (discussed on another thread) sweep of UCLA the first weekend of May in Seattle, the last 9 of those wins have been against teams with RPI's > 100. Including a 4-game sweep this weekend against RPI #297 (out of 'just' 301 teams) Northern Colorado. U. of No. Colo. Bears pitching staff finished the season with an 8.45 ERA >>>>> and that's against an array of teams that gave the U. of No. Colo Bears a Strength of Schedule that ranked 281. So while the Beavs tuned up for Scottsdale against a quality PAC-12 team, the Fuskies were cooling their heels in Seattle against one of the worst D-1 teams in the country. I would have preferred Sparky for momentum reasons but UW does seem like a whole lot of arrogant Mojo just waiting to be taken down a peg.
