Fun fact. That is Meltons 67th, 68th and 69th RBI. Nice.
Ober was our leader with 41 last year. Melton could double him with a long off season stretch.

Our bottom of the of the lineup is horrid at bat. I don't understand putting in a guy that has never faced an opposing pitcher at this level.

Well, you aren't around them everyday, so it's hard to see what Mitch sees. As far as I can see, it's the DH position, so it's easy enough to put someone else in. |

Man I keep watching that replay of Melton hitting that homer.....it’s like he’s doing batting practice for the outfield but then it’s outta here....beautiful swing

This is the 53rd game of the season. Never said true freshmen shouldn't bat. But 53 games in? His first AB? Tells me and probably tells other guys on the bench that canham has no confidence in any of them. |
