Beavers have some quality young guys in the potential weight classes. I hope one emerges big time. There never was serious interest and the coaches realized this early.

Not too surprised by this one as it never felt like we were really in the running. Good luck to him. Obviously stinks to lose kids from your backyard, but so it goes...

We do have some good young guys at 184 and 197 and we will be fine. He is good friends with Rogers and they work out and spend a lot of time in the off-season together. I am sure there was a lot of recruiting going on there. However, to say that OSU was never in the running is inaccurate.

He like the coaches a lot, and he likes the OSU progress. He is also family so I can say that the Beavers were never in the lead. Not in contact with any nieces so no real info, but I would have bet all on this one. Great kid and I wish him well, but I will pull for the Beavers. |
