Have I had too many Pfriem IPAs or should we focus the camera from center How does the camera operator and/or whoever is producing the stream not fix that quickly? That's like, the most important camera to not have fuzzy. You have to pay a camera operator. I think that CF camera is a fixed shot (could be wrong but don't recall it moving with the action). They may just dial in the focus before the game and hope it stays there through 9. Either that, or they had a camera operator in need of a trip to the optometrist.

First pitch 5:30pm
No TV
Listen on Varsity Network Radio
I watched the game on TV using Sling and the sports extra package. I get all the PAC-12 channels and even the other live streams that show on the Pac-12 app. Plus all the other conference networks too.

Bazzana has played baseball extensively in his young life, but like all freshman learn, there is a learning curve. Travis is tooled up - a standout player waiting to burst out, but first comes the learning process - from Darwin Barney in the field and all the coaches at the plate.
Travis is being pitched inside. I have noticed that over the past few series. They work the ladder on him, low and in, middle and in, up and in. He gets bound up and it becomes difficult to extend the barrel. They also elevate the fastball - he will chase the high heat on the letters.
He has to go back to the basics. Get control of the strike zone, and lay off the high heat out of the zone. Adjust to pitches on the inner half of the plate. Travis is a natural pull hitter - pitch him inside and shift to play a pull to the right side. Developing an inside-out swing to hit balls hard to the left side takes time. I hope he works on that this summer.
The shift has robbed Meckler, Melton, Logan and Bazzana of many base hits this year. All are natural pullers although Wade and Jacob can go opposite field with the right pitch.
Travis will have to stay confident while getting back on track. He's having to guess now and that isn't his deal - the less mental involvement the better right now. Strike zone - square up - contact. KISS

Am I the only one who sees the Bricktop avatar and then reads the post in Bricktop's voice? "It'll get you in a lot of trouble, thinking, Errol. I wouldn't do too much of it."

So all these guys have put up atleast one performance so bad they could have been benched the rest of the season. Townsend, Carpenter, Verburg. Hibbard, Lawson, Thornstein, Boisvert, Quinn, Case, Grewe. After a season of development Grewe is the only one who hasn’t given atleast one full inning of quality pitching. We went from one of the thinnest bullpens in OSU to a full stable of solid arms. Good coaching! Edit: Grewe actually did have a nice 1 inning outing against Gonzaga. Allowed a hit but got 3 outs in 6 pitches. I don’t remember that one but it sounds crazy haha

He will be fine.

He will be fine. Totally, they he is this effective on the season with this huge of a slump is bananas. I have a not so sneaky feeling Baz is going to come back better than ever I. The post season in a truly shocking manner for the pitchers in his way.
