Thought it might be interesting (or at least helpful) to start a thread regarding visits and offers. Once the Beavers actually gain some real traction with a recruit, then a dedicated thread for the player would make sense.
First one is Ryder Elisaldez out of Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas. Only a sophomore this past season, so couldn’t find any rankings yet. Did find this blurb about him though.
Ryder Elisaldez, 2025: A high-flyer to say the least. Ryder is always the first one back on defense and is consistently an outlet pass for his teammates. He likes to play fast which compliments his game. Just a sophomore, Ryder has a few more years to perfect his craft and eventually play at a high level collegiately.

Thus far 24/7 has the Beavers with 4 offers out for 2023 class (two of those players have signed elsewhere) and 2 offers out for 2024. My guess is the Beavers have additional offers as 24/7 doesn’t exactly prioritize keeping up with OSU (must have taken them two weeks at least to add Jordan Pope as a commitment).
Brooklyn Hicks (2023 PG) — 6-3 guard from Timberline HS in Washington has 7 offers thus far according to a June 2021 article I found — Washington, Oregon State, San Fransisco, Portland, Washington State, Cal Poly, and Eastern Washington. According to article, he has visited OSU at some point. “So far Hicks has taken visits to Oregon State and Washington as they are among the teams prioritizing him so far in his early recruitment. Hicks mentions to us that he has developed great relationships with the staff at Oregon State and Washington and had a great time while visiting both schools.”
I have not watched any of his tapes, but here is a scouting report I found written by some guy for a WSU centric website last month:
Brooklyn Hicks is perhaps the best guard prospect in the state of Washington. He is currently unranked by 247’s composite metric, but their own evaluators have rated him a mid-three-star prospect. His offers show that high major teams know he is better than that listing. He is a front-runner for Player of the Year in the state next year and his style is a perfect fit with WSU.
The first sell with Hicks is obvious: he is an awesome athlete for his size. He gets downhill off straight-line drives constantly, he finishes above the rim, and he is one of the fastest players in the open court that I’ve scouted. His body is strong, too, and at 6-foot-3, he is big for his position. There is a lot of Isaac Bonton in his game — but more polished at the same age.
Hicks flashes a nice mix of passing skills to go along with that powerful handle. He is a point guard more than a combo, and that bodes well for WSU as he could be a true, every down playmaker for them in the right outcomes. He can get to the rim to finish or make a play just about every time down the court.
The jumper with Hicks could use some work, but there is reason to believe he can develop it to a high-level. The touch is good, and his body control is nice, but he does not have experience taking many jumpers as he is used to playing on-ball and getting to the rim. If he can balance the athleticism and playmaking with a jumper, he’d be an on- and off-ball threat and a potential all-Pac-12 player if he hits his high-end outcomes.

Nolan Winter (2023 SF) — Seems like it will be an uphill battle to snag this 6-10, 180 pound player from Minnesota, as he has an offer from the Gophers and his dad (basketball) and his mom (volleyball) attended the school. To make matters worse, Wisconsin has also offered him, and they have signed two players from his school in the recent past. According to 24/7, the high 3 star recruit has visited OSU. Here is brief blurb from WI recruiting publication:
“Winter shot up five inches to 6’8” in the past year, yet he hopes to grow a few more inches still — his dad was a 7-footer after all. Currently his highlights show a game that lands somewhere in between those of Tyler Wahl and Nate Reuvers, the pair of previous Lakeville North alums who matriculated to Madison. Winter moves well and can drill jumpers from long distance, but he’s still discovering his defensive and playmaking chops. “

Amier Ali (2024 SF) — didn’t spend much time on this kid being that he is currently ranked #35 in his class and has offers from KY, Kansas and Ohio State among others.
Zoom Diallo (2024 CG) — 6-3 combo guard is from Tacoma. Another long shot, but according to 24/7 none of the big boys have come calling yet. Maybe getting in early will pay dividends, though I’m not holding my breath. Here’s a report from 24/7 from Sept 2021.
“He has a great feel and great presence as a point guard to deliver the ball at the right time,” said Tayon Ary-Turner, his AAU coach. “I think that with his shooting mechanics overall he will become a great shooter as a point guard. I think he is competitive and has the knack to know when to turn the switch on. He doesn't just try to dominate the game by shooting the ball all the time or taking bad shots. He knows how to play with other talents which is important. He is humble enough and confident enough where the skys the limit.”
“Off the court he's an example, laughing with you at the team dinners not secluding himself. On the court as coaches we’re talking about the game plan and when they're going out for the jump ball, he is the first one to huddle up again as a leader.”
“He's a coach on the floor and embraces it. He’s competitive and a winner. He's a sponge, he's humble and not under confident at all. I think he smells the moment and executes at a high level.”
COLLEGE ATTENTION
Though he's only beginning his sophomore year, Diallo already has offers from Portland Montana, Cal Poly, Southern Utah, Washington State, Washington, Fresno State and is receiving interest from Oregon State, Pepperdine, Boise State, Louisville, and UCLA.
WHY HE HAS OUR ATTENTION
Diallo made it onto our radar through the recommendation of multiple trusted sources. Diallo has the potential to be a Top 50 player in the class and is just scratching the surface. At 6-foot-3, 180 pounds Diallo is aggressive but still looks to get his teammates involved. His feel for the game along with his passing and decision making will continue to get stronger and more explosive which will open up his game.
