Really proud of the Beavs for their gritty win last night. If you went to bed on the game and see the final score, then you don’t have the full picture. The opportunities that the Beavs had to blow the thing wide open never came to fruition. Short and simple, Beaver pitching was superb. Duck pitching was lame. At one point, Parker said that everyone on the team had gotten a free pass except Forrester and some had multiple free passes. I hope the Beavs start the game with plate discipline and make the pitcher throw strikes. I’m not sure they can. I’m sure Melton would love a few right down the middle

Ferrer looks to have CWS stuff. Breaking balls really works over those guys. Still concerning is our lack of key hits. 0 for 12 with runners on hitting 000 won't win many games. Melton and Bazz have to get back to driving the ball! We had one hit with runners on. Logan's double to right scored two. Probably a fly out normally but the OFs were playing well into the gaps all night. Already had taken away extra bases from Meckler earlier in an inning with this alignment, but backfired here.

My dad and I made the trek to Goss and stuck it out, and it was totally worth it! Our pitching continues to dominate. 3 runs in 3 games for the quacks. Ferrer has become my favorite player on this team. That guy is a wizard on the mound! I believe his ERA was 1.26 going into last night. He's got to be close to sub 1 now.
