I'd ride Verburg unless he lets someone on. He's pitching hot atm and has 2 runs to work with (so far). Edit: Verburg can also go starter level pitches if he needs to. No, he can’t. You need him for this weekend. So its Brown in the 9th. Thanks Smails, I agree about keeping Verburg available for our "little buddies" this weekend.

Brown threw a lot of pitches on Sunday. Get him a little ready, but keep Mitch to start the 9th. You don’t get guys a little ready. You either heat them up to bring them in or you don’t. Bulls%#t. He gets physically ready and soft tosses. It doesn’t take long from there.

Yup and I'd rather have him very ready on the weekend. Ride a hot Verberg and if he gets slopping let Sebby, Lawson or Carpenter have a shot to close. Carpenter is probably a no go though, he threw a good amount against Utah. At the end of the day this game means almost nothing for us except a win against a rival. Oh I guess Brown is called in, oh well. Brown out the puke bowl baby!

Brown coming in is the right choice. Get him ready for big moments. We need that.

Ump must have a laser eye to discern if that one was a ball or strike, good lord.

So what do we do? Leave Verburg in or go for a "Brown out?" Nice 2 bag rope by Donkey with no outs. Brown threw a lot of pitches on Sunday. Get him a little ready, but keep Mitch to start the 9th. He threw 19 pitches on Sunday. He's predominantly a 1 inning pitcher....he better be ready because "he's our closer."

So looking at the score line, I see a bunch of oregon logos on the bottom line. They must really like their o logo.
