No subscriptiono but got it opened. Greta: “I kind of realized the way Oregon State plays basketball was not something I’m super comfortable playing in,” Kampschroeder said. “There’s nothing wrong with the way they play. “But I’m used to balance of run and transition — get easy buckets, and if we have to, slow it down.” From her new coach: “I have known Greta for a long time,” Barnes Arico said in a statement. “She is a perfect fit for our program, especially for the culture we have created here. She is incredibly hardworking and disciplined, both as a basketball player and as a student. “Greta’s versatility and ability to do so many different things on the basketball court will immediately make an impact for us.” It's no surprise that she thinks her new situation will be better than the one she left. Will it be? Only time will tell.

Things misogynists say. That might be a little strong...maybe you're just a troglodyte. I first heard if from a woman. Maybe she's a misogynist? ”Miss Ogynist?”

Maybe that due diligence is out the window with the portal now, idk. If it doesn't go just great, just leave.

I wonder what Greta would say about running the outdated wish bone offense in football if she was a wide receiver? Some players don't want to play repetitious and structured offensive sets. But around and around we go with the discussion about something needs to change in the current system.

Lots of folks think Scott should allow more transition. Frankly now it may hurt us even with transfers. Guess we’ll see in 2023. Basketball can be played many ways. Heck even Paul Valente tried it for a couple games. I recall a Ralph Miller Iowa team averaged 100. Never at OSU. 78 or so. Interesting Her comment.

If you asked players if they would rather play in an up-tempo system or a half court system, I think the vast majority would answer up-tempo, with some post players preferring a half court system. This is probably a factor in SR struggling to recruit a high-quality PG. Not surprisingly the top incoming freshman for OSU are forwards/posts.
Charlie Creme just came out with his updated way too early top 25, adjusted for transfer activity. Here are how the Pac-12 teams rank.
Stanford 3 Arizona 17 Oregon 18 Utah 19
Also considered: UCLA
If preseason conference rankings were done now, I would guess OSU would fall somewhere between 6 - 9.

#committed until she’s not. What a joke. Why not say…”I’m going to try this place out and see if I like it.” Since when did "committed" mean anything? These kids are so used to getting everything "their" way that committed falls into, maybe, or whatever!! Means nothing!!!

I suppose our lack of transition offense explains her 26% 3 pt shooting in conference 🙄

Maybe that due diligence is out the window with the portal now, idk. If it doesn't go just great, just leave. The thing is, she did do her due diligence. I'm sure someone could find the quotes from her, but I remember her saying how many Oregon State games she watched and how she visualized how the Beavs would use her in each circumstance and she could see herself playing that role. You can say that is your reason for leaving, but the truth is she just didn't thrive here. Some of that may be able to be blamed on system and being uncomfortable playing in that system, but you also have to take a deep look inside and realize that you just blew it, and didn't play up to team, or probably her own, expectations.
