Don’t think I’ve been to a Beaver game with nice weather yet. LOL! #BuildtheDome This weekend was great! I got a sunburn on Saturday!!! I personally use "The Squad" membership. For folks coming from Bend, it probably isn't worth it, but just football season makes the whole years subscription a great deal. Tickets are usually RF bleachers or Banners, but that's OK, I just like being at the games For those of you who aren't familiar with "The Squad" it is $25 a month and you get a ticket to EVERY SINGLE BEAVER SPORTING HOME GAME. It is really a pretty amazing deal and I am not sure why more people don't do it. I have two memberships and so take one of my kids or a friend to every game The only catch is even though it is a monthly membership you have to pay for at least six months if you try to cancel. Still cheap at twice the price. Since I got the membership last October I have been to FB games, gymnastics, soccer, WBB, MBB, baseball and softball! It has been good too as a way to try some other sports that I wouldn't have normally seeked out. More info: static.osubeavers.com/custompages/squad/Alas, I had other obligations this weekend. Sure was perfect weather for baseball! I was going to jump on the Squad deal one year, but then Covid hit and I haven't seen it advertised since.

You can pick them up on stub hub but by the end of the season (In a good season) they are pushing $100 a seat. Coming from Bend we also need to spring for a hotel or air bnb which is pretty much impossible unless we got to Albany, Lebanon or Eugene. I was looking at $500 bucks for one game. I can get 15 Bend Elks games for my whole family 5 for that price. When I attend a game, it’s almost always on a Friday, as I teach only half a day. Friday tends to be less expensive and sometimes you can find pretty cheap tickets. As a reward for my effort, I always see our #1 pitcher. I haven’t stayed in or around Corvallis in years. Hard to believe the hotels and Air BnB prices the guys were quoting during football season. Are they bad during baseball season, too? There have been seats in sections 4-8 regularly on Fridays for under $20 a seat. Heck, I've gotten extras for family at $8 for a league game. They are there. Lodging, that's a different story!

To get back to seating, my opinion is that they could build grandstands over the bullpens, linked to Banners by a walkway. I think there is room for about 600 seats and it would go a long way to "bowling" in the stadium. It wouldn't interfere with parking, and be a relatively inexpensive upgrade.
