Lots of posts on this thread aged about as well as Boone's Farm.
It's a 9-inning game, fellas.

I'll admit, after they scored 4 in the first and we went down in order in the bottom half I wasn't too optimistic......I guess I should know better!.....it's baseball after all, and we still gotta get 3 more outs I mean, as a Beaver we are generally wired to give up immediately as fans. Football and Basketball have been hard on us. Yea.....and the zags are a good team. Glad we prevailed in this one. I'd be ok with not having to face them in the post season

Lots of posts on this thread aged about as well as Boone's Farm. It's a 9-inning game, fellas. I confess to having one such statement up early....but deleted it about 3 minutes after I posted (had to remind myself that "it's baseball"..... and there were 8 innings to go). Love the use of quality arms in the final several innings! BTW, has anybody ever actually cellared-aged a bottle of Boone's Farm (?)

That may prove to have been a very important outing for Townsend. Great job fighting back. Hopefully so and hopefully it runs off on a few other guys.

Yep I admit I was pretty fired up after the first inning....the zags just seemed like they were gonna have our number this week. Good response by our guys after getting smoked yesterday and going into a big hole early in this one......on to the dirtee dawgs

Myro Strikes again! 1.00 average with 2H, 3BB in his season. OBP 1.00
Did well in the field, too. Caught a sharp line-drive to start a double-play. Handled everything hit at him. Did miss on a ground ball up the middle that maybe someone faster might have snagged - of course, that's easy to say when you are sitting in the stands.
He got his chance and he made the most of it, for sure.

I couldn’t watch or listen to the game, but I heard Parker’s wrap up at the end of the game. He said Myro IV had been given an error that was scrutinized and determined not to be an error. What happened? Was the scorer just being nice to M IV?

He made a good play reaching a ball beyond 2 nd base. He threw high to first and pulled the first baseman’s foot off the base.

What happened? Was the scorer just being nice to M IV? Myro IV had to range a long way to his left to field the ground ball. He ended up gloving it behind the second base bag, but had to do a quick exchange while in motion to his left and throw to first. It was a looping throw, and Gretler had to leap up to snag it.

So “no error” is the best call? Or a gracious call?
