So did cate Reese for university ofArizona but Cate will stay on and help her team to get the leadership a young team needs!that’s the difference to me.taya knew from the fans supporting her we wanted her to stay. Didn’t the staff? That’s the question to me. While Taya Corosdale was playing 35 minutes in the game vs. Baylor on 3/23/2018, in one of the greatest victories in OSU WBB history, Cate Reese was playing High School basketball in Cypress Texas.

Thank you Taya, for your ~6 years of bleeding Orange and Black, giving it your all, and leaving as a decorated alum. From my cheap seats, this is exactly how to leverage your talents - get a degree, experience the culture of both coasts, create more resume value for yourself, go to a school where there is a trusted member on the staff (and a known teammate coming in)......especially if you aren't going to the WNBA and you don't (for whatever reason) want to ply your trade overseas. Never saw her pout, only time I saw her without a smile was when she was bidding other teammates farewell. As far as I can tell, she owes us nothing more, and she gave it her all. I am thankful to have had the privilege and pleasure of rooting her on all these years. I wish her well. I don't much care for Duke, so I likely won't follow her career very closely from here out, but I can't begrudge her for looking out for her own enlightened self interests, all with considerable class..... Go Beavers!!!

Some can say Aleah's position at Duke doesn't allow her to recruit but it just happened that two former Beavs are now Blue devils. Next thing you know Aleah will be looking for players for Gladstone High School if you went to Aleah's HS you will get the reference Fill me in ftd.....Aleah played for OS and is now coaching at Duke....Aleah played her HS ball at La Salle in Milwaukie---what is the connection to Gladstone HS?
