Taya poured five years of work and sweat into Beaver basketball, contributed through good defense, rebounding, and opportune scoring to many Beaver victories.
She always played hard and represented OSU in a class manner.
Thank you Taya!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm also going to miss Taya. Enjoyed watching her play and she was a class act all the time. I have no problem with grad transfers. I've read many times that the resume looks better if you go to a different university for your graduate work. Good luck to you Taya for the future.

Indeed! Going to miss her! Indeed, we aren't done yet, who else is jumping in the life boat? Can't believe SR will even be able to field 5 starters next year, and a 5 v 5 workout is now no longer a possibility. Happy days..... Notice: there will be open tryouts starting immediately for women who can dribble a basketball and chew gum!!

Some can say Aleah's position at Duke doesn't allow her to recruit but it just happened that two former Beavs are now Blue devils.

Like "recruiting" only entails traveling to see games/recruits and visiting with them. The players are eventually the ones in control of the decision, but ONLY after a school offers. The behind the scenes recruiting work/info gathering and research determines who exactly you do offer. It's the key to the part of recruiting schools/staffs actually do control.

Better to have them both in the ACC and not the Pac 12. They were both leaving OSU regardless. Let’s have them play as far away as possible. Good for them.

Taya was Aleah's roommate for a few years, wasn't she? And Aleah is currently employed by Duke to be a part of making their basketball program as successful as possible. And Duke is a pretty good name to have on a masters degree.
So, no hard feelings toward either one of them, and may god things happen in their futures.
