What coach loses 4 starters? Something isn’t right here! Please name one?

But, a 4 year player with over 100 games, not a grad transfer situation... Taya choosing not to finish her career here is a big slap in SR's face. In my opinion anyway. Ouch. The (4) recruits can't be "misses". Not one has seen highly competitive, experienced D1 play, but they better be ready fast. Unless some true talented experience comes in the portal it could be an ugly learning curve. And, with too many minutes I fear for the injury bug hitting. She is a college graduate. As such, she can go anywhere without penalty. She is a grad transfer. A "slap in the face" after she has already invested five years in the program? lol Not sure how even you can come up with this line of BS. You're actually not classified as a graduate transfer if she could in fact play at OSU next season. Graduate or not. That's not BS. Many "graduates" play for their original school. Lol

Lol She graduated from here. It’s in the definition of “grad transfer”. I believe she majored in skull cap engineering, so we do not have a graduate program in that.

Gress via Daschel....So Taya is out. Maybe because of degree? Definitely choosing to play, just not here. We got 4, count 'em 4, very good years from Taya. Any debt she might have to OSU has been paid in full. She owes OSU absolutely NOTHING. Onward and upward TC.

Agree with Werebeaver on this one. Taya's legacy as a Beaver is chiseled in stone, and it is a good one. She has done everything right, and everything well, for 5 years. I hope this, and everything else in her life, works out very well for her.

So what was the purpose of copying my OP here, Werebeaver? It was just a notice that Taya is leaving. I actually agree with you on this one. I wish Taya would stay and play here, but she's put in four years and I'm pretty sure she needs to go to a different school to get the degree she wants.

Lol You really have no idea. Actually you don't. If TC goes into a grad program with her year of eligibility she indeed would be considered a grad transfer. However, since she has a year left (Covid) she actually could relax, take various courses to be academically eligible, saying she's working toward another undergrad degree. Hence, not be a grad transfer. Many Jrs have graduated in 3 years and can go into the portal the same way. They don't have to be accepted into a grad program.

That is the definition of “graduate”. But, keep trying to backpedal on a technicality. She’s allowed to transfer as a “graduate”. Doesn’t matter if she goes back to get her welding certificate. She’s still a grad transfer.
